One week prior to treatment discontinue aspirin, ibuprofen, Excedrin, Motrin, Ginko biloba, Ginsing, St. John's Wort, flax or fish oils, vitamin A or vitamin E. In addition, avoid products containing glycolic acid, retinoids, retinols, and Retin-A.

Two days prior to treatment, avoid alcohol.

On the day of treatment come well hydrated, avoid caffeine, and be sure to eat a light meal or snack before your appointment.

If you are prone to cold sores.

If you have metal implants.

If you are taking steroids or antibiotics.

If you were recently vaccinated or have any vaccinations scheduled in the next 2 weeks.

If you recently had dental work done or have any dental work scheduled in the next 2 weeks.

We do not treat any pregnant or nursing patients with any injectable or laser treatments.

For 24 hours do not wear makeup.

For 24-48 hours avoid strenuous exercise.

For 2 weeks avoid exfoliating, facials, sauna, steam rooms, hot tubs, and laser treatments. Avoid products containing glycolic acid, retinoids, retinols, and Retin-A. Be gentle when applying products to treatment areas and washing face.

Be diligent with mineral based SPF applied several times per day, rain or shine, indoors or out.

For 24 hours do not wear makeup.

After the first 24hrs warm compresses may be applied to bruises.

For the first 24-48 hours avoid strenuous exercise and hot tubs or steam rooms.

Arnica can be applied topically or taken orally to heal bruising and reduce swelling.

Tylenol can be taken for mild discomfort.

For 1 week avoid oral sex and smoking if the lips were treated.

For 2 weeks do not massage treatment areas, avoid facials, laser treatments and be gentle when washing face and applying products.

For 2 weeks avoid dental procedures and vaccinations.

For 4 hours keep head upright.

For the first 24hrs do not wear makeup.

For the first 24-48hrs avoid strenuous exercise, hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms. Do not massage the treatment areas, avoid faicals, any laser treatments, and be gentle when washing the face for 2 weeks.

Avoid microneedling for 2 weeks. Avoid peels for 7 days.

Be diligent with a mineral based SPF everyday, rain or shine.
